Italy is a bit of an outlier but Poland and Hungary both have a muslim population of less than half a percent.

Causality is tricky here of course, maybe muslims don't want to live in Hungary because it's full of people who don't like muslims; but what these data do show is that it's not the presence of lots of muslims which is the cause of islamophobia.

Thanks, Isnt it generally the case that terrorist attacks drive an increase in hate crime etc? The Charlie Hebdo and Saint Denise attacks are pretty much acknowleded as being the drivers in France in 2015.Add that to the the concern about migrants and immigration across many EU states.

Facebook bans Britain First pages

Facebook has removed the pages of the anti-Islamic group Britain First and its leaders.

The social media company said the group had repeatedly violated its community standards.

I've just noticed that their slogan is 'Taking Our Country Back', but which one of Britain's countries are they referring to?

Oh they are, I remember when they first appeared, 'armoured Land Rovers' were a big selling point. Always knew the AA would end the revolution/
