I've always felt Cardiff's underachieved on the music front over the years, every half decent band seemed to fade before record company interest, and when they were looking at Wales in the laughable 'Cool Cymru ' era, there was nowt in Cardiff.

If they'd bothered earlier , who knows?

I suppose you could say that about any town though, remember when Norwich was 'hot', bands like the FArmers Boys wouldn't have got a look in normally.

Oh well, maybe it'll come round in another 30 years.

Awesome! I'm scared to get too involved with urban while i'm away, after spending about 5 hours a day on here in wales i'm afraid to once again suckle it's golden cyber-teat of irreverant banter. Good to see i'm still on the welsh forum radar though.

ddraig: i'm trying to learn them, but to 99.99% of aussies dnb was invented by pendulum and they can't dance! There was a huge free party I heard about, but the country is massive and i was a good 1000k away.
