A London derby to boot
Fucking result! About time we got a big team away
A nice few quid from the gate and possibly live on tv!
A truly momentous day in our history
AFC Wimbledon given permission to build new ground at Plough Lane
good news indeed. How many years away I wonder? Brentford should have moved a while ago I believe and still not due to move for a year or two.
Saw that earlier, great news!
2020-21 season was the target but might be missed due to last year’s fuckwittery ny Boris Johnson
The article says 19/20. So hope so. There is so much building going on in wandsworth, with the roads choking with their Lorry's, their mud etc. That a little more will be barely noticed. August 2019 it is. Opener against palace?
there's a feelgood britflick in all this, incredible story
Milton Keynes Dons lol
Apparently they're going to ask Barcelona
There is only one Dons, there is only one team entitled to use it AFC Wimbledon charged by EFL after failing to use MK Dons' full name
Aberdeen F.C. - Wikipedia.
Looking forward to tomorrow vs Spurs Great day out at Wembley, loads of cash for our coffers, and anything less than a four-goal defeat a bonus.
Do a West Ham on them. One shot One Goal then close your eyes and pray for the rest of the game
It was looking good at half time as well. Nevermind, always next year.
Big match today then.
It's looking brighter AFC Wimbledon aim to move into new Plough Lane stadium for 2019-20 season
Looks like a lorra luxury flats wedged in around the ground. I guess that's the only way these things can happen these days.
That's an odd looking picture which is difficult to place. I guess that's Plough Lane across the bottom and Summerstown down the right. Luxury flats in Wandsworth
is like hands in gloves.
Anyway, I see the imposters have virtually gone.
I shouldn't gloat much until we have secured our League 1 status (one point needed from two games now), but it was extremely satisfying to see the Franchise relegated today.
Even if the worst were to happen and we were to go down, at least those bastards are coming with us.
As someone who cited the apparent god-given right of a town of the stature of Milton Keynes (LOL) to have a Premiership team as the driving force behind his scheme to steal our football club, I wonder how Pete Winkelman is feeling tonight
Great seeing them go down. Wankers.
I remember the early years of AFCW when we were playing 3-4 leagues before the Conference, and would daydream about how it would feel to one day in the far future being able to catch up with them in the football pyramid.
At the time it felt so far-fetched that if Dr Who himself had materialised at the centre line and told us we would climb six divisions within 15 years and overtake them in the league, we'd have told him to fuck off.
Bump. Got the point tonight we needed! We’re safe
Glad to see you'll be a league above them next season. They're the only club i refuse to visit.
The old dog track is now partially demolished, I now convinced it's really going to happen.
