Folklore, mythology, is thousands of years older than me, it's purpose was to disseminate knowledge and wisdom down the generations through word of mouth, storytelling, to raise wise children who would grow up wise adults and leave good legacies on the earth and pass this wisdom to their children and so on. The tradition died out. Books were hand written at first, so very expensive so not everyone could learn to read.
Then came the printing press, books are great, but the old oral storytelling tradition died out, and lots of illiterate people worked as serfs, then came the agricultural and industrial revolutions and TV.

When I ign0re threads , it's usually out of frustration that it doesn't seem to be progressing in a fast or linear enough fashion, or the way I think they should, :mad,: and I usually don't think anything i say is being taken on board.


With individual posters, it's not a punishment or a judgement per se, it's just an admission that i don't have the capacity or current ability to continue the conversation with them on any thread for whatever reason. for now, at least.

Listen to BBC radio, Times radio, read the guardian and BBC websites - there are others which will occur to people - you absolutely must move away from ingesting a diet of utter bilge and pretending to yourself that you're able to determine what's broadly plausible and what's drivel because the unpleasant truth is that you're not.

Read the Covid thread on here. It's a mine of information brought here and analysed by people who really know what they are talking about.

He does say in his video that anyone is welcome to disagree with him by commenting, he is up for debate which is more than some. Will he answer the comments? Has anyone else heard of him, must have as he brands himself as London Real.
Dunno if I trust him, most of my comments on his video are questions, I think I am the only one who is questioning him. Vid only short, worth a watch even if you want to debunk.

Do you mean the three that started about Philpott? If so, I was told about excess mortality and I offered a counter argument against it. I didnt get the counter argument from fb or yt.
I require evidence, yes, but I have also been asked to provide evidence by others, and rightly so, that is the nature of debate, but it went cold and I got no feedback about my possible explanation for excess mortality.

I think in dribs and drabs, I can't help it.
I remember when I was 11 and got in with a bad crowd and wanted to confess all when shit got too real, I got mildly sexually assaulted one day and when I confessed to my mother, I only told her about the stealing and smoking because that is all that occurred to me. I got a wallop of her, I begged her to not tell Dad as he was dangerous and I didnt want to end up injured, so I said she could ban me, stop my pocket money, keep me in etc.
Dad stole loads from work, she did tell him, he got the 5 of us downstairs and when I begged him not to hit me he told me he wasn't going to punish me but he mentally abused me for days calling me thief.
Anyway, as I remembered each bit of mischief I wanted to get off my chest, I told mum in dribs and drabs because that is how it comes into my mind, it is an asperger's thing. If I could have thought to have told them all the things at once I would have. I dont even know if I though to tell them I was bullied.

Parents went to school, I thought they would stop the bullying but they didnt and I ended up back with them.
This is just an example of how I report things, I tell them as they come in my mind, sorry the big picture doesn't come in my mind, I wish it did, its a real handicap.

I don't know what the solution is to people's inability to work out who to listen to and who not to ... it's a gut reaction in my case ... I don't have the patience to do proper research, but I'm fairly sure that if the scientific "consensus" (probably the wrong term) was ever overturned, I would know about it.

As it is, things like my own brushes with ill-health and the current epidemic, make me poke around a bit for my own sanity...

Half truths are mixed in, the mention of nurseries is the labour leader saying that they should be shut, so his child will not be banned from going to school.

I don't think he sounds like Micheal Douglas, while Douglas is a good actor I used to often think I wish he would turn up the volume on his voice and stop mumbling.
He distracts from the truth, he takes cash for conspiracies off Big Tech. No where will we get evidence that Orwell's prophecies are slowly coming true.
