Very interesting. The rumours have been rife for decades.

Ah, missed that. I'm not finding reading that easy at the moment and I can't get to the eye hospital till tuesday. It's not being re-investigated. There's going to be a review that will decide if there's to be a fresh investigation.
I'm with Mrs M. here. The probability that both the victim and the perp are dead doesn't make it un-investigatable. It may be a crime....and I think 'it happened a long time ago, leave it' in any murder is no justice.
Mick Taylor was miles better anyway.
As a guitar player perhaps, but not as the man who formed 'The Rolling Stones', managed them, pushed their early musical direction and lead them into their career.
where's your link say gomelsky formed the rolling stones?Giorgio Gomelsky, you mean?

He was also manager of the Yardbirds at one time.
He got involved with them later after Brian had formed the band and got the ball rolling.
Gomelsky had the Stones as the house band at the Crawdaddy and was the link to Loog Oldman.
It say this though, Pickman's
"He owned the Crawdaddy Club where The Rolling Stones were house band, and he was involved with their early management. "
Ah right.
The nearest I've got to a history of the Stones on my bookshelf is an unauthorised biography of Keef entitled 'Satisfaction.'
It's surprising how much Keef actually remembers of the Stones and the early days, all things considered.
This is a good, informed read about those early days...

Cheers for that.

I wonder what the new evidence is. It always seemed like a fairly straightforward case of vodka and swimming pools not mixing to me.
