Brian Eno Pisses Away More Goodwill

I agree with danny. I always thought that once in a lifetime was some novelty band, whilst thinking that I ought to get round to listening to talking heads some day. THen I realised that it was by them and I was like, "Umm..."

No, no, no.

You've posted as if you're the only one who is entitled to have an opinion on what constitutes good punk, and others have disagreed with your selections, but that's not the same thing.

No one actually cares what you like or listen to.

Oh, and Talking Heads are great.

I file them under 'Ordinary'. Next to Ian Dury. :p:D

Hang on a minute, i am often accused of being passe for liking 1977 influenced punk bands.

No, dipshit,. You're accused of being passe (well, that's not the word I'd use but hey.. ) for ONLY liking 1977 influenced punk bands.

And for thinking your the only person who can judge what a good punk band is.

No, no, no. Not in the same breath as Dury. Unless the sentence is: "Whereas Talking Heads were rubbish, Ian Dury was a genius".

heh heh

actually I would have never made the connection at all between them but the parallels are worth exploring.
If only just to make you cross :p

the broader approach to lyrical subject, the rhythmic quality of the bands.............

Wow, I didn't know that

If you already know that Eno's produced the likes of U2, Coldplay etc then you shouldn't be surprised that he's working with Jason Donovan.

I'd ask you to stop being such a tool but I realise that it's hard for you to break the habit of a lifetime. :D

personally, I'm surprised that he might be working with Jason Donovan. But I guess after working with two of the biggest bands in the world, working with Jason is no surprise at all :hmm:

It's all quite nice for Jason though. Maybe Mr Eno is spending his twilight years charitably supporting musicians previously dependent on touring dodgy clubs and singing the Home And Away theme tune?

(yes, I know he was in Neighbours, he sings H&A in his act)
