You fool, you could've had ours, we never use it.
Twas only £8. When it gets too caked in cheese I shall throw it away and take you up on your kind offer.

Used to have that. It mooed. We used to sit it on the window of our living room and moo at people going past. We were stoned, I think. Toasties AND side-splitting entertainment. Splendid.

I use those toastie bags now which aren't as good but the lack of mess almost makes up for it.Sounds like it was them that did the mooingI've got a pig one but it doesn't oink![]()

Nope. I'm still in amazement that someone actually uses those toastie plastic bags. I thought they only existed in Bettaware catalogues.

Cheaper at Morrisons! And they're really easy to use...I likes em anyway

Cheese and bacon or cheese and brown sauce are pretty good. You can also do some baked beans on the inside and have a baked beans toastie.Any top tips for recipes people? I've not had a Breville for years, so any suggestions gratefully received.![]()
god I want a sandwich toaster now

Tuna mayo toastie is nice.

Tuna is evil, but perhaps pilchards in tomato sauce would be a good alternative.![]()

Don't laugh at my jam and coconut - it's like a Salford peshwari naan.![]()

What model did you buy and is it any good? Am on the hunt for one myself. The budget Breville has some really bad reviews on Amazon...I've bought myself a new Breville toastie machine today, despite not really having kitchen room for it. I will now be living off cheese toasties.
PS - this is the nearest thread I could find on the subject, so apologies for the age of it.![]()

Cheers!
Is there any point in buying one if you don't want to use cheese?
