Bread makers Y/N

huge huge yay for breadmakers. bought one for my ex while we were together- she had pretty chronic eczema so kneading wasn't going to happen. when you're not quite awake and the whole house smells of freshly baked bread...

*note to self* buy one for me!

I have ventured into the world of breadmakers, with the usual Panasonic SD225.

3h45 to go! *claps*

I'm thinking of getting this - it's the same one my mates has - Morphy Richards, but if anyone has any recommendations?

but has a seed dispenser in it, which means you can do alsorts of types of bread

it's the one that lasts, is consistant and mine has without a doubt earnt the cost back for me :)

I work with a big bunch of engineers and every time this comes up on the bulletin board, there's two types of answer:

1) I have a Panasonic and I like it
2) I have a Morphy Richards/Kenwood and I wish I had a Panasonic

bad bad aqua - you now have me looking at spending a lot more then I intended - I want that one now :D

buy it, you'll love it

you will also put on about a stone just from eating whole loaves at a time, whilst still warm (well hot lets be honest :D) with lashings of butter :o

Ffs, now I want a breadmaker.

LOL :D tbh I think if I bought it I would save loads because I'm thinking of making my own lunches instead of buying them and with nice fresh bread every day I would do it - that's my excuse anyway :D

the machine's instructions come with loads of recipes to try too so you're never bored :)

I've mentioned these before (http://www.urban75.net/vbulletin/search.php?searchid=12531728) but curry paste and mango chutney bread is awesome as the toast for beans on toast, the pizza bread is brilliant

being able to have fresh bread when you're hungover to fuck is also awesome  (mix all dry ingredients in the machine, measure out the water and leave it by the machine, then when get in from pub, pour in water and set going - it's well worth the effort :D)

Oh - it looks like I was thinking of buying one back in February - I totally forgot that thread :D My mate buying his last week just reminded me again! I'm going to check out the reciepes and have fab bread every day :)

I've sadly mislaid all my recipes :(

I used to make a yummy PNB / coconut loaf, and a fruit loaf that was bordering on cake ...
