Brazil vs Japan

The BBC commentators are watching a football masterclass and can still find fault. Japan phave played really good football. Brazil can go places if they drop Adriano, Ze reberto, emerson and cafu. They can't accomodate ronaldo in the later stages either.

Brasil come with huge expectations, that when you add an unfit centre forward to the mix and a vulnerable, non existant defense, people keep on moaning and will forever find fault, untill they execute champagne football at its most exquisite.....

Lineker is such a tosser. I had quite a lot of time for him until just now - "Now they are tied - Der Bomber and Der Blobby."

FUCK OFF you smug cunt. The guy just scored his *14th* World Cup goal, which is many more than you ever managed. Have some respect. Jesus! Instead we get a smug, unfunny attempt at a joke. Twat.

I've met Kawaguchi and interviewed him and he was a very very very very nice man!!! And hot!!! And a good goalie of course.!!

I've seen Kawaguchi play twice. He's still affectionally known as the midget ninja in Portsmouth and we watch his progress with Japan.

However, with Pompey he was diabolical :D

Good stuff tonight though.

Almost as good as the twat during the game, 'I predict a diet, I predict a diet.'

I mentioned mentality in an earlier post (on another thread). Did you see all of the Brazilians come and congratulate Ronaldo when he scored. There is an argument for them 'playing' him into the game and setting up text book goals. Robiniho unselfishly threaded the ball through to him only to see his shot go wide. Its not only the 'champagne' football but it is the spirit of the brazilians that is to be admired. A marvel.

That's what Leonardo said.

Japan always lose concentration and fall apart when they get tired. They did it against Australia too.

Brazil are going to get a shock when they play a decent team. Three pretty unconvincing wins.
Dickhead!

Ronaldinho has got to be one of the nicest footballers ever, he's very unselfish, kind, and he just seems to love playing football. And yes, it was quite touching how everyone was helping Ronaldo score.

* wipes little tear *

Not just kindness that will pull them through though, they've got to sustain their teamwork/team ethic (which they probably will) and then step it up a notch, as they begin to encounter stronger teams. Starting with Ghana!!!!

Haven't read this thread, but I've always watched the Japan and Korean games after they impressed me years ago.

Goalie is brilliant. We should poach him.

Was surprised at the Japanese team having a Brazilian (Alex). Didn't know about him until recently.

It's not the winning, it's the taking part that counts... ;)

How dare you, he is officaly Japanese.

Yes I know :D

I'm probably way out of date in my assumptions but I got the impressions the Japanese weren't very accepting of foreigners.

I'm probably very wrong though :o
