Brazil vs England

Really pleased to see that Keane does that petulant thing - where he's too slow to get on the end of a ball and so glares accusingly at his team mates - for his country as well as his club. Well done Robbie, you're a fucking inspiration.

i see you're 3/4 of the way to a successful accumulator, how's spain v argentina going? can't seem to find the score on the beeb...

1-0 to Spain atm, winnings just over £100 on that one if they can hold that lead.

Got another one still live as well with Bosnia to beat Portugal and Spain to win by 2 goals. Silly money if that comes in.

I have seen him do it to Berbatov and also look at him as if to say;
"whats wrong with you ?"

I know he is getting stick for his perfomances for Tottenham this season but his International form is better.

He is quality.

To be fair to Robbie, he's great when played as an out-and-out striker. He's fucking brilliant when played in the right set up. This is what Jol understood, but Ramos, Benitez, and (seemingly, so far) Redknapp don't. He's far less effective when playing deeper. His appearances in Spurs midfield this season have led to speculation about a 'must start when fit' clause in his contract...

But wherever he plays, he behaves like a cunt. If he scores goals for Spurs, I'm happy, but I still don't like his attitude. He blames everyone but himself, every time.

Where I had been able to suspend my club allegiances in the past, I found I could not do this with Campbell. How could I boo and jeer a player with such venom one week and then cheer him the next?

Not only do I find this view to be stupid in itself, but if you examine the whole Sol Campbell thing specifically, of course he wanted to play for Arsenal, and what Spurs player wouldn't? He's cheering on a whole squad of players who'd do the exact same thing if they just had the chance.

This is what is repeatedly misrepresented about the whole thing.

It wasn't just his switch to the scum, it was his conduct leading up to it and the outright lies he told to the fans.

The clues in your username no?

For me the piece articulates the total unlike-ability of the current England squad compared to previous teams regardless of there club, players like Pearce, Gazza, Sherringham, Adams, Seaman etc

Yes.

Out of the current 1st teamers, I absolutely despise:

Ferdinand: Arrogant, casual, overrated, drug-cheating narcissist.
Terry: Less so, but still an arrogant twat.
Lampard: Arrogant, lazy, overrated, libellous narcissist.
Cashley: Need I say anything more?
Gerrard: Arrogant, racist, violent narcissist.

It's the 'golden generation' tag. They believed their own hype. Twats, the lot of them.

Rooney has his faults, but he cares. The rest of the places are up for grabs, and they don't treat it as their god-given right.
