I am stupidly excited about this. Just got hold of the red shirt, got loads of beer in

(the Bogotá mayor has prohibited the sale of alcohol from 10am tomorrow, in an attempt to cut down on the mayhem that has ensued after the previous wins), and to top it all, the president has given half the country the afternoon off to watch the match. What is more, the place I work has given us the afternoon off as well. It's only reasonable, in the face of the fact that this country (Colombia) is on the brink of a collective nervious breakdown and quite frankly nothing will move tomorrow afternoon at 3pm :)

I think the worst of the wait and the expectation is that this Colombian team seems in with a reasonable shout of taking the Brasilians. If it was a total no-hope situation, it would be easier to bear, but the expectations round here are now in the stratosphere. Fingers crossed.

(Oh yeah, and it's my birthday tomorrow. They have to win.)

I've really enjoyed this WC - but I don't think Brazil deserve to win it - so come on Columbia - show us some style.

Could have sworn I posted here last night... Or maybe there are two threads.

Anyway! EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be an epic match. Brazil will win :p (or not, as the case may be).

    I will get drunk regardless.

Quiero con todo corazon que sea Colombia.

Ambivalent cos I think the Brazilian people deserve at least a tin cup in return for all the billions they've coughed up for this masquerade, but Colombia have played cleaner, confounded expectations more and done better dancing. Also: if they win, Brixton too will rejoice.

Brazil for the win. The final will be so much better if they are in it.

3:2 to Brazil. Neymar gets the winner at 86 minutes.

I want a Brazil vs. Argentina final. I sort of want Brazil to win the whole thing but less than I expected. I love this Colombia side though. So, just hoping for an epic really.
