In an ideal world the Trust would share the same information that the ordinary shareholders receive as and when they receive them and under the same conditions of privacy. Whether that is actually feasible with the size and constitution of the membership is a moot point. It’s always going to be the case that the portions of the trust membership are at odds with the strategy at the club as we’ve regularly seen.

It's not an ideal world. Some of the stuff released to shareholders should not be released to anyone paying a tenner (from memory, I am a Trust member.) Ten quid to get access to privileged information on a business I think I can potentially make money out of. Bargain.

Interesting comparison though. The level of financial information that was shared about Oxford City on here via Companies House is not available outside the circle of shareholders of Dulwich Hamlet. Having been on the committee for many years I’ve understood why financial information was kept from public gaze back then but having been privy to the current financial information there is a curiosity (in a positive way before any doomsayers decide to take this bone & run with it) that such information is not made public.

Paula exactly the same information is available on any company via Companies House so the DHFC accounts can be analysed in the same way. The DHFC model is different to others and that different model explains why teams with lower attendances can afford things DHFC cannot.
