Where's the "Great but not as good as the Young Ones" option?
And why isn't it a public poll?
Is it just me who thinks that The Young Ones is the most overrated television programme of all time? That show was based on such a thinly sketched premise that it had to fill itself out with pop bands and awkward interludes with talking socks.

Yep.
Something you think is great cos everyone says it's great but when you watch it (particularly now) you think "erm, k, s'alright spose".I like bits of the Young Ones but it's talked up way too much. Some shows get a cult following who big the thing up as a masterpiece though.
Liked series 2 of Bottom with the Christmass and camping episodes but the rest of it wasn't great and the film was really terrible. In fact, thinking about it, Bottom the film was the worst film I had ever seen. And then I saw Magicians and at present can't decide which is worse.
