Bored of Brazil Thread

indeed. regurgitating all the crap that they've read in the papers / heard john motson say.

brazil is not some sort of blessed utopia full of toothy natural genii playing football barefoot on the sand. their football team is not somehow more romantic or poetic than any other.

Australia played better than them on Sunday. Australia for god's sake.

You mean the same Australia who beat England 3-1 at upton park.

<shudders>

the funny thing is he wasn't our worst... i was slagging off the swedish keeper the other night in the england game, and my england supporting mate turned and said 'yeah cause magnus hedman should have been first choice...' - he had a point...

O'Neills comment at half time about the decidedly shaky Kaljac was....

"When I joined Leicester; he was reserve keeper. He's now reserve keeper at AC Milan - not quite sure how that happened myself"

Full time he was grinning a lot when they showed the cock up. Terribly unprofessional ;)

well yeah i was... I support celtic - we had a player i like a lot playing in one game as opposed to 1 ex rangers i despise, 1 ex-celtic i despise and 1 current rangers who i despise all playing in the other...... but how the fuck is that 'sectarian'?

do you even know what sectarian means??

are you this fucken stupid in real life?

this was a decent thread - if you want to carry this on further zed, you hard of thinking twat, take it to pm and off this thread - there is no reason on earth why you should show the world what a stupid, ill-educated fucken knob you are.

Fuck off.

I didn't know which of those players was ex Celtic or Rangers (apart from Viduka) and so, assumed you were refusing to watch a game because it had a Rangers player playing.

Like I said ....I got it wrong and I apologise.

PS ....Yes I am sometimes this stupid in real life too. :D

No sense of humour then. Never mind.

All disparaging remarks about Brazil, on this and other threads. Why no wow how good are they threads. Everything is so negative and when someone pulls you up on it you call it a joke.

From what I have seen so far, Argentina, Spain and Italy would pull Brazil apart. And I think some of the other middle rank teams, including England, might well beat them too.

You're a fine one to talk about negative, you never stop moaning about England.

But with England there is something to moan about. Why is it acceptable to play the way we do. Do England supporters deserve the trash they are served up world cup after world cup. Japan played better than us, Australia did too. They shouldn't be on par with us, but they certainly play the game better at the moment.

I'm not sure anyone deserves anything. I agree though, I'd like to see us knocking it around more, now that the group has been won and the knock-out is on the horizon hopefully we'll step it up a gear.

So you are that convinced of a Brazil win? Would you care to wager?

Against England, I wouldn't bet against England, that a little churlish in my opinion. You must have money to burn.

I don't understand that post at all. Are you saying that you wouldn't bet against England? Even though it is dreamland to think they might win?

Betting against a team that is also your country is wrong, according to my set of values. I do however think that England would be drawn and quartered if they met Brazil, Argentina, Holland and portugal.
