Boots/Shoes for men

I need some boots or some shoes to ponce around London looking like the 20-something yuppie that I am. I've got some okay trainers but I need something more formal to wear with boot cut jeans.

My main problem is they need to be comfortable and I have slightly wider feet than most, which stops me getting many of the better looking designs.

I'm planning on getting a pair today. I'm going to pop round Selfridges, Base, Schuh, all around Carnaby Street and Covent Garden. Anyone got any other recommendations for places around central London to look?
