Not recently enough, I'm afraid. There can never be enough boots in my life! And of the two pairs I got, one of them goes with absolutely nothing in my wardrobe

i got those black boots on the first page delivered today and they are not awfully nice and not comfortable enough to make up for that so they are going back. the search continues.
i will go shopping tomorrow but brixton only has a tiny clarks and morleys is still rubbish for shoes

I dunno, I might be willing to pay that. Last year I bought a pair of cheap (but nice) boots and they fell apart at the wettest, coldest part of winter.
If they are leather and good quality I may be able to rationalise it somehow.ETA- Oh, I just looked at them and they only come in brown.
They wouldn't go with enough of my stuff but they are truly gorgeous.

Not only do I know exactly where you can get your red DM boots (I know cos I just bought two pairs meself) but it's off a fantastic discount site and they'll only set you back £25 - £35 (depending on colour) rather than the rrp of £70!

Btw - those boots are extremely tight over the top of my foot.
I'm just breaking them in gently by wearing them around the house although I did finally venture out in them yesterday (my best friend found it hilarious that I commented that they'd 'be very, very comfortable for walking in, once they've stopped crushing every bone in my feet. ' ).
Hopefully they'll ease up a bit soon (worth persevering with at that price ).
Probably won't be an issue for you unless you have freaky hobbit feet like me tbh but worth mentioning I thought.

ah really? im a size three and a half and was just about to order the sie three because my current ones are quite loose but then i do like to wear big socks so i was thinking of going for the size 4. given what you've said i think i'll go for the four, thanks sheo
