Kill The Messenger by Tami Hoag is about a bike messenger looking after his younger bro after his mother dies. He gets called out to a job at the end of the day, picks up from a lawyer, and ends up with someone trying to kill him when he gets to the package's destination. He escapes only to find out that the lawyer has been murdered, and he is now the prime suspect. The cops are after him, someone's trying to kill him, it's all very exciting.
