My attempts to distract onemonkey with my matching clothed mr pootle have been well scuppered. He's in a&e with a suspected knackered tendon in his ankle.

We've got tickets for Girls Aloud tomorrow night too

Yay! I was cycling through Vauxhall on Friday and saw an open topped double decker with all the lovely bonkerfest crew on board.

wicked day... great weather and some really cool stuff going on... live music tent, food, voluntary sector stalls.. rides, dancers, samba drummers... and some real characters walking around!

I personally got there about 2, had a picnic and a smoke, then checked out the music via a go on the helta-skelta (well it did say 'fun for all ages'!) .. didn't really 'go bonkers'.. but it was nice to have the freedom to be a bit silly on a hot summers day..

was a great atmosphere (mainly due to the best weather this year i's hazard) ... but seemed a well put together day.. just the right amount of people/stuff going on..

have a few pics which I may post up.. but mainly are of my friends!

I went down to this with a few friends from a local squat,as we were just passing.

Can't say it was a bad day out myself.Fucking hot as anything .I was drunk as a skunk by the end...

I didn't make it in the end...knackered from dancing to DJ Rupture the night before, then going from Hackney-->Greenwich-->Camberwell in the blazing sun with my giant weekend bag on my back, so ended up lagging out. Sounds like it was fun though.
