Well, you may recall that a) yam appeared about the same time pbman blew it with anti-semitic comments, b) someone went and dug out a bunch of yams posts on free republic where he was also viewed as an obnoxious shite and always in trouble with the mods, c) some of yam's language had a distinct UK flavour d) I have long been of the view that pbman was actually a literary experiment in creating an online persona simulating the world's most retarded redneck and sending it to wind up europeans for later publication, e) if you imagine the sort of person who would come up with d) you end up imagining someone more or less exactly like phildwyer even if you didn't know him.

It's an interesting conspiracy theory anyway. Of course, pbman and yammie may actually be exactly what they claim to be. Which is very sad.
