I rarely say "Oh keep watching, it picks up" because I'm an impatient bastard. But Bojack really picks up halfway through the first series and gets into its own from S2 onwards.

It was free off my brother. I now have free prime until June with some phone contract he got. When that runs out I'll stump up for netflix for a bit.

I've completely binge watched it all now and feel bereft now it's finished. It's one of the best things I've seen, the relationship/parents/self destruction really resonated.
I also really like it cus I always see people as animals so that bit of it really tickles me.

All in all, this was pretty bloody magnificent. I could go on forever about it but it would be pretty redundant as there's so much been written already, and an endless rabbit hole of analysis on youtube etc.

Will Arnett's voice work is so fucking good I basically forgot, for the entire run of the show, that this cartoon horse was not actually a real person.
