Sir Bobby is a god to me, a true hero, he made Ipswich into one of the greatest club sides there has ever been. I was privileged to witness astonishing football beating Man Utd 6-0 and missing three penalties, destroying a a Barcelona side led by cruyff and beating Arsenal at wembley.

He did this with a side of players he had developed from youth football and bought just 14 players in 13 years, a truly astonishing achievement almost unbelievable by modern standards.

He remains the only other ex-ipswich manager to take England to a world cup semi-final.

And the other one? Sir Alf Ramsey.........
