Not sure what you mean by "workable."skunkboy69 said:i used firefox for years.I switched to opera last year coz firefox kept losing my bookmarks n crashing with dodgy extensions.I understand why people use it to avoid IE but having to install all those extensions to make a workable browser put me off bigtime.

Never heard of it till you said this.mhendo said:And, once you start using them, you'll wonder how you ever lived without Mouse Gestures.
I know some people who hate them, but i've been using them for a few months now and couldn't live without them any more. In fact, whenever i get on a computer at uni that still uses IE, i find myself trying to use mouse gestures instinctively, and then getting annoyed when it doesn't work.DexterTCN said:Never heard of it till you said this.
Went and downloaded it.
Could revolutionise computer use, absolutely amazing.

Mouse Gestures are a little hard to explain, and when you explain what they are people often say, "Well, that's sounds like bollocks. I don't know why you'd want that."Rune said:What are Mouse Gestures?![]()

Mouse Gestures are literally what the name says. They are a set of browsing commands that are activated by making certain gestures with the mouse. For example, if i want to close a window in Firefox, instead of moving my mouse cursor to the top right and clicking on the little box with an "x" in it, i simply hold down the right button on the mouse and move the mouse quickly down and to the right. Voila! The window closes.
Using mouse gestures you can open new tabs, open new windows, open links in new tabs or windows, close windows, switch tabs, resize texts, and a whole bunch of other stuff. And you can do all thewse things with far less mouse movement than would otherwise be required. It makes, in my opinion, for faster and easier browsing.
Mopuse Gestures are installed automotically with the Opera browser, and with Firefox you just need to download and install the Mouse Gestures extension. Using them will seem a little awkward at first, but once you've gotten used to it, you'll never go back.
The extension installs in about 10 seconds, and uninstalls just as quickly.Rune said:Sorry, had to be said. Thanks for the explanation. If the extension is easy to get rid off, might give them a go.
Rune said:Do all your searches on ebay look like that? Just looked at a couple of random items and they turned up OK.
