Bloody Drummers

I was a drummer, and I was quite good/very reliable and invariably ended up managing the band/sorting the gigs/doing the promotion because they couldn't get it together themselves.

I miss playing, but I don't miss the whining, the bitching and being in close proximity to musicians with dubious washing practices.

It was a bit like that in the early 90s band I used to play in. I think it's the same for all teenage/early 20s bands. I used to be a sound engineer and got sick of it because everyday you would have to deal with premadonnas that thought they were the next big thing. Of course none of them were.
The drummer sorted out everything in my band too, even my girlfriend at one point, inspiring 'the drummer is a cunt' song.
