Modern crimplene.

I'd say a t-shirt slightly too large which used to be white but is now a yellowy brown colour with what looks like an yolk stain from a fried egg down the front . Trouser wise I see stained brown cords with the knees worn out and the bottom of the legs frayed .

I can't imagine him in anything stained. You might be right about the brown cords though

Button's got a brilliant navy blue neat polo shirt with pink piping. He looked well fit in it the other morning.
