I must admit to starting to slightly like McDonald's now, after being in Rome. There simple weren't any public toilets at all (except for at Termini, where it has two extortionate toilets disguised as lifts), so if you were out and about McDonald's was the only choice. They even had seats and toilet roll, unlike the toilets in the Rome restaurants and attractions we went to.

I must admit that McDonald's has saved my bowels many a time in many European countries.

And the Rome McDonald's had fried and breaded brie slices, which were apparently lovely, little cheese and tomato pasty-things and a few other foods which sounded lovely.

But still. Yes. *shakes self* Ahem. McDonald's = evil.
