She wore her hair in a net (but it looked good much nicer than Ena Sharples ). always went out in a nice hat and coat. Got her Guinness in a lovely quart bottle with a china stopper.

She worked till she was 70 bless her. The manager at the raincoat factory would not let her retire because she was the only one who could keep the 'lasses' in order.

She cooked in a 'black' range - I could weep remembering her flat bread 'cakes'.
