Indeed. But anyway (this shit should probably be stripped out into a new thread...), yeah the XDA Mini S is still a fecking cool little phone but it does have it's downsides. The cpu is a bit slow, while ok for most operations have anything more than four things running at once and you get the phone hanging on occasion. The camera is a little better than I first thought (figured out how to up it to it's full 1.3 megapixel setting at last... ) and with a gig mini sd taking random video while out and about can be quite fun!

I am so pants with technology, my mum is even more attuned with the new this and that of todays modern communication....

I dont have a brick or nowt, but my phone is old, and as long as i can be reached out and about, im happy......

Yep, very true. Had a muck about with one last year (Vodafone shop near Bond street has a downstairs section with live smartphones), wasn’t very impressed tbh. It’s only a .3 megapixel though right?

I've surfed the internet and browsed these boards with a gprs enabled phone and a palm tungsten pda. Connect the pda to the phone via bluetooth so that you can have the phone in your pocket and use the pda to enter your messages, data and so on. Worked quite well for me.
