I liked the look of the new Windows Treo 700W (I'd prefer the Palm Treo but it can't take a wi-fi card), but it turns out it only has a squinty 240 x 240 screen, and apparently that's pretty fuzzy too.

This place is populated by willing techies who offer free advice and support to the technically clueless. In what way is it even worth trolling? There's no real opinions expressed to disagree with.

Agreed (assuming this is true). It’s below the belt imo; I contribute a lot to the tech forums because I’ve gained some real insight and very good advice from the people on here. I love the way that people chime in to make sure someone’s wifi net is working or suggest about mobile phones etc. It’s like having a dynamic knowledge base to dip into!

Using this forum of all (if you’re going to take the piss why not bother the P+P who are never happy with anything anyway!?) places is pathetic.

Please note, I’m far from interested in causing shit, I said when I came here I considered it a clean slate and I meant that. I’ve been nothing but opened minded regarding this community and those I’ve had run ins with on Urban (and quite enjoyed relating to known people in new ways too!).

I had intended to spend more time on here I like it but recent rumours have made me think twice; I will not be taken for a fool or be here purely as a source of your amusement. I don’t like the feeling that behind closed doors a small bitter group are taking the piss and only interested in slagging people off. I don’t like the two faced nature of that thought. In part because it just aint right but mainly because if true it would be breathtaking hypocrisy.

Indeed. But anyway (this shit should probably be stripped out into a new thread...), yeah the XDA Mini S is still a fecking cool little phone but it does have it's downsides. The cpu is a bit slow, while ok for most operations have anything more than four things running at once and you get the phone hanging on occasion. The camera is a little better than I first thought (figured out how to up it to it's full 1.3 megapixel setting at last... ) and with a gig mini sd taking random video while out and about can be quite fun!
