Biscuits : to dunk or not to dunk. That is the question.....

Do you dunk (your biscuit)?

I don't really do biscuits.....

If I were to invest in any biscuit type products, I'd most likely go for a pack of Cheddars.

And I suspect one would have to have grown up way on the wrong side of the tracks to contemplate dunking them....

I dunk every type of sweet biscuit in my tea (don't like coffee) some biscuits like jaffa cakes for a nano second others like a foxes classic crunch for whole seconds.

It is not good though when you a lose a biscuit...when you misjudge your timing and your biscuit floats to the bottom.

As an alternative I also put a piece of biscuit in my mouth then a slurp of hot tea...currently doing this now with Cadbury Honeycomb nibbles as they are too small to dip without getting your fingers burnt.

the people who are wrong uns' are the ones who dip other things in their tea like TOAST...now that is weird and makes me gag !

I was in France recently and I breakfasted with a French lady who dipped her buttered baguette into her coffee...

But did she have that special coffee bowl the french use to dunk their baguettes?

Unfortunatley no - just a normal cup. I would probably have done it too if hot chocolate had been on offer in a big bowly receptacle :)

I like to dunk everything  Hobnobs in tea, crisps in pesto, fries in Mcflurry, etc.

Please tell me you don't dip fries in ice cream  that truly gives me the shivers and gag reaction. Pesto and crisps I can see could be quite nice.

It's not as bad as you'd think actually. The idea of gravy gives me the shivers and gag reaction.

Surely you mean fish fingers.
No, fish sticks:

I bite both ends off Kit Kats and chocolate fingers and use them as straws. :o If they've been in the fridge, the chocolate stays hard and the inside goes all gooshy.

Nom.

I'm also reminded of Jean Hughes-Anglade dipping his baguette in a big, deep bowl...and not just Béatrice Dalle, ho ho ho...
