Bildeberg 2009

fair enough, but they are at least as nefarious as G8 / G20 etc and reasonable to assume more so because of unaccountability and the Chatam House Rules.

i mean i don't know, nobody does as nobody is allowed to know what is said.....so it's certainly anti-democratic, any institution is that has a small cabal meeting to discuss ideas for billions of people who have no input....however im not so sure its as evil as that, although im open minded enough not to rule it out...

i think im on the fence a bit?! :o

What you seem to be forgetting is that any devious schemes that might be discussed around the pool at the conference can just as easily be discussed on a private golf course, a members club or even, shock horror!, in a conference call over the telephone.

Which is why I find it weird that you make such a big fuss about a physical meeting, as tho this is the only time that this particular elite grouping could get together and plot...

Im not making a big fuss, indeed i rarely enter these discussions, i leave it to people who'd rather whine on and on and on about how its a load of shit over a dozen pages on multiple threads.

Still, people debating important issues with no open record is not democratic at all, no matter how it takes place.
