Bike Stolen :(

.(cant be bothered)

More security "dogma" for people who arent up themselves.

" Before wrapping your lock around a convenient post, look up and check how easy it is to remove the sign on top ~ maybe someone has loosened the bolts already in anticipation of your visit!

Another trick is to put glue in the lock and come back later with the heavy cutting gear. If you find your lock in this condition inform the police immediately, and be prepared to prove the bike is really yours! Try to position the lock so the keyhole faces downwards and with parts of bicycle frame etc filling the shackle (so that a jack cannot also be inserted) and so that the lock cannot be worked into a position either keyhole upwards or next to an 'anvil' (e.g. the ground) against which it can be hammered. Finally, remember that a lock is only as strong as the thing it is locked to."

Well, steel makes a huge difference.. can't believe the improvement over the Italia (which I love, still).. so smooth, and seemingly loads faster for whatever reason. Love it.. absolutely love it

Another youtube link for those that think that specialised equipment is needed to break chains/ d locks. Incidently the best D lock on the market is an Abus granit 59 but it costs £160 and can be broken silently in 2 minutes .
