jihadi terrorists and neo-nazis. i used to do a lot of online debating with nazis and the stuff they come out with about rape,domestic violence, and the rights of women to choose who to have a relationship with is truly appalling. 
you dont actually realise how much sexism there is in that movement untill you see it, coz when most people think of nazis they think of people who are intolerant towards jews and other races of people, but the people they seem to hate the most are actually white women.

oh, i see that Socialist Worker has brought out a stop press on the story, however while I posted this to make sure it got further coverage, imo, its rather bizaare to watch posters fall over themselves to emphasise it and take pleasure in publicising it on blogs, etc, The fact remains the Jihadis have killed more than the farr right in the Uk and still remain the biggest threat.

Here let me ask you a couple of questions.
When was the last time this country was involved in a terrorist attack that was instigated by white people.
Was any threat made.
What are the 'real' facts of the case.
Now the first question will likely be, 20 years. The second answer as far as you are concerned is, No. And lastly, you don't know. All you know is a selective report of a witnesses statement.

Now how the fuck does Mrs Buchannan, who is nothing but a witness, know about rocket launchers?
Now when all the facts come out, then there might be something worth reporting, but to go throwing your toys out the pram and act like this is some sort of racist incident when no facts are known beyond a snippet in a local paper of one witnesses testimony, is a bit silly.

Nice post Fong. People seem to expect because there is 24 hour reporting now and everything should be out there at once and be 100% accurate which is not possible. If news 24 wanted to report on this instantly they would just copy the report from the local news source which they have no idea how accurate it is. Or they can send a reporter down who has to contact the police, courts, council maybe, local people and witness etc. which takes time. This would be done after or prioritised after it has been established how news worthy it is.

Yep, and yes the 7 July were far worse and a bigger threat but that doesn't mean that the BNP actions like this (assuming it's proved) should recieve only local coverage.

Bit silly comparing history from 20-30 years ago and saying well we should have a crack down on the irish cause they are reponsible.
When there is no real threat from that department anymore, no threats being made, and no recent examples.
The recent examples and the threats are coming from the Asian community at the moment.
Besides there is abig difference between this and recent high lighted cases in the news.
There wasn't a really big police operation, firstly, for both landsdown road and the more recent 'plot' there was massive police operations in effect, one involved over 250 police officers in Biological suits and it involved a shooting, the other involved the closure of most of the major airports in london and changing the way people entered.
This involved a retired dentist being arrested and his car being impounded.
That seems to be the extent of the police operation in this case.
