Biggest ever extremist UK bomb plot haul, but they are white!

While we are quite rightly concerned about Jihadi Terrorism, we need to look around in other less likely areas too. Apparently, two white men from Pendle, lancashire, one a former BNP candidate have appeared before Pennine magistrates accused of having "a master plan" after what is believed to be a record haul of chemicals used in making home-made bombs was found in Colne. Included in the find were rocket launchers, chemicals, BNP literature and a nuclear biological suit. Weird, that the media is not reporting it as a major story.

Chemicals Find: Two In Court

TWO Pendle men have appeared before Pennine magistrates accused of having "a master plan" after what is believed to be a record haul of chemicals used in making home-made bombs was found in Colne.
Robert Cottage (49), of Talbot Street, Colne, and David Bolus Jackson (62), of Trent Road, Nelson, made separate appearances before the court charged with being in possession of an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose. The offences are under the Explosive Substances Act 1883.
Both men were remanded in custody to appear at Burnley Crown Court on October 23rd. Cottage was arrested at his home on Thursday, while retired dentist Jackson was arrested in the Lancaster area on Friday, the same day as he left a dental practice in Grange-over-Sands.
The 22 chemical components recovered by police are believed to be the largest haul ever found at a house in this country.
Cottage is an ex-BNP member who stood as a candidate in the Pendle Council elections in May.
Mrs Christiana Buchanan, who appeared for the prosecution in Jackson's case, alleged the pair had "some kind of masterplan".
She said a search of Jackson's home had uncovered rocket launchers, chemicals, BNP literature and a nuclear biological suit.
Police raided Cottage's Talbot Street home on Thursday of last week. The house was taped off while forensics officers searched the premises. Neighbours were told to stay in their homes for their own safety. Mr Cottage's car was also taken away for examination.
Officers also made a thorough examination of Jackson's Trent Road home and, again, officers were on duty outside the house. Forensics officers examined the property.

fuckinell. Hope this isn't the start of something. Well, obviously it is the start of something, but I hope it's not all gonna kick off.

er, they are not asian, muslim , jihadi terrorists, but white caucasians, a big story don't you think, imagine what carnage the rocket launchers could have done, never mind the chemicals, so why not headline news.

speak for yourself - I don't spend every waking hour worrying about the Muslims under the bed thanks

Yeah lets get beyond what is 'believed to be' into actual facts before it becomes a major story.

Also the whole 'master plan' comes from a prosecution witness, not from the police, MI6 or anyone with any reputation, in fact, so far not even from the prosecutor, but instead their witness, also she is the one who stated rocket launchers, not the police again.

Probably good reason this not made big news yet, and that is because its pretty unsubstantiated.

I have been saying for number of years now, (but not enoch style), that there is a crisis developing: while some people are getting very rich, second homes, holidays three times a years, shares/stocks, etc, other white working class, muslims and black are increasing feeling marginalised, if for very different reasons. The liberal left have largely ignored this, particualry Blairs lot and the Guardian liberals (sorry WOW), read Thomsy's very erudite, calm and measured
posts on P/P for some incredible analysis of this and possible future scenarios.

the disparity in the reporting of this story and any that features suspected asian/muslim terorrists speaks volumes about the press...

No, respect/swp are 'already' in the bed with muslims;)
think you need to turn off your telly and stop being so goddamn obsessed with Muslims, it's a real bore. :)

Umm they were only arrested yesterday, and the local paper has only got it today so to me it looks like they got it through a routine check for stories at the courts or police station and it hasn't beem posted on any major news wires like PA so national press hasn't got a hold of it yet. Anyway even if they had they probably wouldn't have had a chance to print it yet. Sure they may ignore it but I'm going to wait a couple of days to see what happens to the story and to see who reports it.

an ex-BNP member who stood as a council candidate this year is found with 22 chemical components in his house - the largest ever found in a house in this country - is arrested....at a time when this country is on red alert for terrorist attacks, unprecedented levels of security at airports etc...and its not newsworthy?

can you imagine if this had happened in an asian household in lancashire...

don't be silly. the bbc website/all other websites, don't go to 'press' - they can report stuff instantly - and do.

But at least they're onto the "Harry Potter makes kids Evil" thing, which I think means we can all relax.

It's like I said - 'Belfast, City of the Future'.

Remember kids, don't try this at home.

And if you must try this at home, always mix your fertiliser with a wooden spoon.

Use a metal spoon and the SOCO bods will be picking bits of you off the walls.

Exactly. All flights would be grounded, the police would be shooting someone and raiding everywhere.

Btw anyone got a good tabloid headline for this?

Well, Sky report instantly and often get stuff very wrong...the BBC check and double-check which makes them slower but very reliable.....

Yeah but if there is no press release or report from a major news wire they might not have got it. The local paper or site it was on have only reported it today. Just because there are 24 news sources doesn't mean they know everything that is going on at every second they will be using major news sources like PA so if it's not on there yet they wont have it. Also if people think it's such a newsworthy source and feel it should be put up they can always contact the bbc or papers. If you can be bothered to post on here about it, it takes to the same amount of time to contact someone who could report it.

Shhh.

I would have thought picking bits of BNPers off the wall was a good thing. ;)

Iris, are you agreeing with Thomsys very pessimistic views on the future of the Uk, isn't this enoch style scaremongering or genuine fears for the balkanisation of the country.
