saw it on wednesday - there were a few bits I loved

Egg Shen: And a wise man knows when to get in out of the rain!

I'm afraid to say that I've paraphrased this numerous times because I do think that some people can be macho arseholes about the weather.

I love the fact that during this scene the biggest macho arsehole of the film (i.e. Jack) is the one fighting Egg for the brolly (and losing).

Porkys is a bit of a classic from my youth too it has to be said.

Used to watch all those Lemon Popsickle type ones.... that's how we learnt about the birds and the bees!

US Maxim magazine has voted John Carpenter's Big Trouble In Little China the worst film of all time. I saw it again a couple of years ago and thought it was thoroughly enjoyable. What does everyone else think?

Kurt Russell film named worst ever

Kurt Russell movie Big Trouble in Little China has been named the worst of all time.

The kung fu film, made in 1986, came top, while raunchy comedy Porky was second and Showgirls placed third.

The list, put together by US magazine Maxin, also named Best of the Best, the 1989 action flick, among the worst productions ever.

However, David Edwards, film critic for the Daily Mirror, said many leading candidates escaped the list.

"Big Trouble in Little China is a bad film - but it's a long way from being the very worst," he commented. "Where on the list are crimes against cinema like Glitter, Basic Instinct 2, Pluto Nash or every movie Madonna has been in?

"My vote for worst movie ever made goes to the sci-fi film Battlefield Earth."

that film was a tragedy for the soul. How they took something so good and then shat on it from a great height i will never know.

but for me the worst film is Mission to Mars, closely followed by Streetfighter (the live action travesty with Van Damme).
