I'm completely confused by the messages about who's going to be where, but have sent texts to establish who else might not want to be watching footie, and will track some of you other people down by phone later, I dare say. I intend, if poss, to be there about 2-6ish.
I'll be there.

And I definitely, absolutely, without-a-shadow-of-a-doubty will not be watching the footie.

I'll be there, and will also definately not be watching the footie...I'll be heading for that big bar at 2pm...unless I get hopelessly distracted.....

At a festival? Distracted? I should hope so!

2pm BAR stage.
6pm BAR stage.

Laugh at footie people as they arrive at 6pm with Kev in tow, having become best mates after the fight that followed the spilt drink earlier... priceless.

I'll be there and definitely not watching the footy.

I'll be at the bar at 12pm, 2pm, 6pm, and probably about every half hour in between. :D

Found the running order for Reknaw stage on the London Punks board:

12.00-12.20 - Social Schism
12.35-1.35 - Demonic Upchucks
1.20-1.50 - Fear of Fear
2.05-2.35 - Dirty Love
2.50-3.20 - Defcon Zero
3.35-4.00 - Angel
4.15-5.05 - Headjam
5.25-6.25 - Short Bus Window Lickers
6.45-7.45 - Inner Terrestrials
8.00-9.00 - UK Subs

No Flatpig though :(
Looks like Pain aren't turning up after all.
Heard Bev's putting on some hippy drumming act on amongst the punk acts (Angel?). Maybe it's a cunning ploy to get the punks to appreciate Headjam
:D

No sneering now!

The football is our affliction let us deal with it in our own way

Setting out in about ten minutes or so, It's really hot hot hot out there!!

With good timing, and I intend to leave the pub as soon as the football finishes and get the others to as well, we could well be in the park by 4:30, or only a little bit later. Will want to see a bit of headjam, otherwise see you all later on ... :)

Nowt wrong with headjam!!!

Excellent list -- Headjam, the Short Bus Window Lickers and especially the ITs should all be class acts ...

Well that was pretty good, spent a lot of time chilling by the reggae/dub etc tent. Bumped into WoW who completely failed to remember me for about the 10th time :p.

I arrived at 3ish, danced in the reggae tent so i could enjoy it before too many people got there and filled the place up with smoke.

It was great for a about an hour then the drunk / sleazy or just completely out of it yet well meaning blokes started to really spoil it.

There was one old guy who kept on offereing me cigarettes and following me around with a burning fag in his hand, even after I kept moving away from him.

He kept spitting out big greeny flobs on the grass and throwing burning fag ends on the ground, so I put my sandals back on to avoid stepping on something burning / disgusting.

At one point he insisted on telling me that he'd done his back in and harrassed me to pour water on his back, which I reluctantly did, at which point he proclaimed "Awww youuaa durn it nwaaawh arve gawn and shat miself!" What a charming man!

Then there was the very fluffy yet completely annoying steward who for some reason was wearing several layers of clothing and a big coat. Unsurprisingly he stank and kindly offered to wipe my perspiring brow with a filthy (and I mean minging) old towel he was carrying around. Lots of times.

I left at about 5 as I just couldn't take these 2 blokes any more.

I met up with a few friends but they got pissed off with the blokes before I did and left.

I really enjoyed the first hour or so. The second hour was also marred by solution sound annoncing that they were keeping it mellow and holding back the basslines and 'fire' for later, which was frankly gutting as I can't survive long without basslines.

I saw some punk band who were really good for a while, punk isn't really my thing but they had a wicked energy and if it wasn't for the huge crowd and the accompanying cloud of smoke I would have checked them out for longer.

Popped home, grabbed my cossie and went for a swim on the heath which was divine.

Hope you all have / had a great time :)

how uncouth louloubelle! scandalous infact.

disgusting minging old lech is more accurate

some poor girls ran in the tent, kicked off their shoes and immediately got a shock when they realised they were dancing on grass covered in phlegm (although it took a while for them to work out what it was)

he also had upper false teeth, you could tell because each time he hawked up a big greeny he spat his teeth out into his had first.

Classy

Shame about the lech man, but there were many other people there. For me, it was a fantastic free day out that re-connected me to so much that matters. Recommended. Well done all.

Nice day.

Storming set by the man at the end.

Very strange hearing there was 6min left of a tekno set.

Seconded -- great day out!

Weird how different people can be in the same place yet have a completely different experience to each other, I spent ages at the Solution Sounds tent, mainly outside but also inside at times, and I thought it was fab!

The Inner Terrestrials kicked arse as usual, and I was able to catch some of Headjam and Short Bus Window Lickers as well

Great day all round, big thanks to the organisers. One small criticism and a recommendation for next time -- there needs to be a better choice of veggie food! (admittedly I didn't check EVERY stall, but there didn't seem to be much foodwise to tempt me).

Sorry to miss aurora, crustychick, lisarocket, but I met plenty of others ...
