Big Sexy Festie this Saturday in Finsbury Park...you coming?

PAIN failed to turn up at the Red Star at a Punky Reggae Party a while back, and put it his way, SEVERAL punks there were unsurprised to say the least ;) :(

PAIN have been 'on the bill' at very many festies and parties I've been to in
the last 15 years, but astonishingly for a festival and party veteran such as moi, I have NEVER seen them

You'd better turn up on Saturday lads ... :D

I didn't even know they had that reputation. I must have seen them five or six times - all at gigs organised by people I know... or knew :(

I didn't know this either. They've done at least two gigs for us. Mind you that was a while ago...

so has anyone got a schedule (particularly for the punky things). I do appreaciate that these things are particularly subject to change etc

its ten minutes away from here, but i dont have the pennies - even the £1.50 for the bus fare :( :( :( :( :(

yeah man, i just walked to finsbury park from golders green, was wicked, over the heath then down the old railway path

people are slack when it comnes to walking

ooh - old railway path - forgotten about that - must use sometime - cheers for the reminder.

PAIN are good lads who have shown up for every gig I ever booked them for, and I've never heard a bad word about in terms of turning up elsewhere. That's all I know. I also know that vans break down sometimes,
They are good people, at least they always have been with me.
I'll be at the festival. I will be disguised as a tired bloke with a beer.

Yes.

William will turn up about 6pm, and will hassle you if you are drinking crappy lager.

Between 2 and 6 I will be hassling you if you aren't drinking fast enough.

Cheers!

this is a major 90's flashback going on.

*anyway*

i think I've persuaded half my local to turn up. the other half? well, never mind.

I'm completely confused by the messages about who's going to be where, but have sent texts to establish who else might not want to be watching footie, and will track some of you other people down by phone later, I dare say. I intend, if poss, to be there about 2-6ish.

Edit: damn, looks like everyone's watching footie, so perhaps I'll just turn up for the second half of something. No point being all indoors on a day like this!
