big feet want nice boots too

my feet are about an 8 1/2 i reckon, but can squeeze them into 7s and 8s as long as they are pointy toed. just can't do round toed shoes though!

You tend not to bother unlacing them all the way.

*top tip*

 How would you get your foot in properly if you didn't unlace them all the way?

If I wore boots like that I'd always be late.

8 is not big for women's feet  .

If it is then why do all the decent styles sell out right at the beginning of the season and there's never any left in the sales...

Oh and size '4-7' womens socks do not fit size 8 feet, neither do 'one size' socks - one day I'd like to be able to wear nice girly socks dammit.

I only noticed recently, but Evans (as in Evans outsize) do shoes and boots in bigger sizes. They aren't particularly exciting but they are at least female looking, maybe ok for work.

They probably don't make as many in the first place.

It's cos the girls with big feet trampled all the girls with small feet in the rush to get to the shops, so there's only little shoes left.

while out wandering today I saw Rollem's green boots - I was quite tempted to buy them, but she'll kick me with pickman's boots too

That's blatantly a false leg, isn't it?

Any woman who complains about not being able to find shoes in her size wants to try being a 6ft 5 man with size 14 feet.

You're a woman. Look at the High Street. Billions upon billions of pairs of shoes and boots made just for you, in every hue, style, and size.

It's like watching an obese person complain about portion size.

 ;)

Snap. Incidentally I'm not sure if you know it but Elephant in Brixton (Railton/Atlantic road) is good - I have size 12 so half share your pain. :)

Except they won't fit me except for granny shoes...I mean those vile beige things resembling slippers so generally I have to wear men's shoes.....just because I don't have narrow feet....I did manage to get a pair of women's ankle boots in an 8 in very soft leather and stretch them but that's still two sizes too long for one foot and two and half sizes long for the other.....no wonder I walk like Dick Emery as Mandy.....and yes, I already mentioned Elephant Feet in Brixton, Bob and posted a link...do keep up! btw, my feet are too short for Elephant Feet....

I've never had any luck in Evans I'm afraid...even Clarks can't help. Doesn't help matters that I have very high arches...great feet for walking barefoot but not so good in shoes....

They're the same lengthwise..but a man's size 8 is wide & a woman's size 8 is narrow

Actually I can buy kids trainers size 5 yet shoes and boots I'm a 6

if I've done it right, according to that chart my feet are a 2 and a half - and I have to buy a 5 or a 6 to get the width right

I hate having size 8/9 feet :(

I'm actually a size 42 I think, but what that is in different shops varies, some its an 8, some a 9 others (evans I think) its a 7

fucking stupid it is

and I echo whats said about socks too :( I love nice socks but they just don't fit properly

Rollem, if I don't remember to forward you PM's pm remind me later will you? :D
