Big Brother Upgrade 2008!
Give all contestants a few tidbits and hints about a virus spreading in the last few mins before they go in...
Big Brother talks to em on the first night etc...
Next morning ... nothing...
No further contact.
Eventually they'll bust emselves out, have the streets empty with abandoned/burning vehicles and stuff...
then bring on the zombies! (Actors etc...)
how entertaining would that be!

I didn't watch series 3, got suckered back in for series 4 and then watched it for 5-8. But this year it just has no interest for me at all. I think it's just run its course now.
The people they put in there are just too dull, ultimately. It was fun for a while to see the idiots get provoked into rage, like poking the inmates at Bedlam. But even that now is dull. The first series was the best, because it was the only one with genuinely interesting people.
We made a last minute decision to watch the going-in show, just because it was likely to be funny. We won't be watching any more of it this year though.
Saying that, I do have to salute the creativity of the designers of the set and tasks and the sheer wit of the various people that play Big Brother. They've made it watchable far longer than it had any right to be. Such a shame that they use their talents for evil rather than good.
