Beyond D'oh! Simpsons Quotes For Everyday Use

"Wait a minute - this isn't the Monsterometer - it's the Frog Exaggerator!"

Whenever you have the wrong tool for the job, or by extension whenever anyone is making an argument based on false principles - I usually shout it at politicians on the radio several times a day...

IMO the funniest line in possibly all of creation.

context: Searching for the Loch Ness Monster:

Frink:Oh my great good God! Gentleman your attention please I am detecting a gigantic amphibious life form! It's 80 meters long and it's heading this way Oh, good guyvin it's on my shoe! it's...a small frog... just get off just get off get outta---stupid machine. Oh, wait a minute, this isn't the monsterometer, it's the Frog Exaggerator!

my all time favourite

homer watching wheel of fortuneand marge asks him has he picked up bart
to which he replies

'I'm on my way'

which is in fact the answear to the question on wheel of fortune. Great for those moments in front of the telly and a loved one asks for some help :)

Well I regularly talk to my beer-belly in a Homer-like voice.

Notice that almost all the quotes are from Homer.

Best. Fictional character. Ever.

I think secretly every man wants to be him. In fact, my girlfriend's dad actually IS him - and I'm so jealous.

"You're an idiot."

Spoken with contempt, disappointment and inevitability in the voice.

Homer: OK, we've got the secret vigilante handshake. Now we need codenames. I'll be Cue-Ball, Skinner can be Eight-Ball, Barney will be Twelve-Ball, and Moe, you can be Cue-Ball.
Moe: You're an idiot.

Uses: Universal.
