Sort of makes sense. You mean if it's an 18 in Evans it's the actual equivalent of a 24 in M&S? Or just generous in general?

A lot of their stuff fits badly for me. The main thing I buy there are jeans as their straight leg ones aren't bad. The tops tend to be too short as I have a long body and are a bit shapeless.
I like Beth Ditto too.

I've always found evans jeans to be decidedly ungenerous. Next has always been the best place I can get good fitting jeans. Tops, I'm not sure since I haven't really bought any from there before. I'll soon know though, what with my haul.

A conversation about boot cut jeans and I argued and argued and posted a picture I had drawn to try to convince people that boot-cut jeans just suck

I'm not sure leggings will look good on me - it depends how long the dress comes down, I think.
I can't really do spangly shoes either, it will have to go with some black mules (I'm guessing Birkenstocks are not wedding wear).

I have some of those, or bootcut. It's a bit more than I wanted to spend on wedding clothes, but it's so pretty that I think I would wear it more than once.

<Nods> the only celeb I know of that does actually design and put all the effort in is Gwen Stefani for her L.A.M.B. range. A shoe factory I worked with made all her shoe samples. They had to spend three weeks a season with her whilst she designed it all. They said she works very hard on it.
