The scissor sisters sick sense of humour was definitely not lost on me :D

I've never worked out how to post big pictures on threads. Twister, can you post my Steve Irwin one? (saturday pt 2!)

:)

copy the url of the pic (by going into the pic, right click, properties), then on the reply, click the mountain postcard button picture looking thing... paste the url you've saved into the box that comes up.. and voila!

but anyway... yeah, I saw about 3 steve irwins, went up and chatted to one of them and got a piccie took with him me and my g/f (wasnt this one tho)

Thanks, I'm a bit crap with things like that. I've made a mental note to self about posting pics now.

I saw a few Steve Irwins too, but I liked that one better because of his "crikey" speech bubble. The bestival boards have a poll asking if the Steve Irwin who was with a stingray was in bad taste :D

It's all going a bit Lady Di...

...and how fitting an end to the SS set/festival was 'filthy/gorgeous' ?? ... the massive clowns came out and everyone went nuts...

aww memories... :D

ps. noticed you saw 'Jim Noir' - they were wicked weren't they.. > another great moment > 'My Patch' at the end of the night.... :) :)

It was a great set ender. Everyone the crowd was dancing and singing. Huge disco fest!

I liked Jim Noir and i liked their gnomes :)

Although the weirdest stage thing award has to go to the man covered in blue hands who belongs to Misty's big adventure. According to the programme he's called 'Erotic Volvo' :D:cool:

yeah very nice

It's a shame you didn't get any pics. It happened to me when i was taking pics at Lovebox last year. My batteries failed big style, but at the last minute before i left i thought i should take a spare camera with me. God was i pleased i did. The entire festival was taken on an 2.1 megapixel old fuji compact that was the size of a brick. I'd have been buggered if i hadn't had it.

Batteries also failed at Glastonbury in 2004 on Friday before the festie actually started!!! Didn't have a spare camera then and was devastated...ahh, now i remember. That's why i took the old camera to Lovebox...

Just learn from it like i did. I had 16 rechargable batteries with me this time...just in case :)

Better luck next time an all that :)

You're right of course - should have a back up.

We checked out what the Olympus stand had to offer but they only had one that cost £260 and no manual settings.

Found my charger was the victim of moisture getting inside - couldn't work out how it happened until I flipped it over and for no reason that I can discern there's a small circular hole in the case on the underside so put it down on any wet surface (like on the bar at Off the Tracks last weekend) and it would go straight in. Thanks a lot Panasonic.

Anyway this should probably be in the photo forum... :)
