Best way to make Corn Beef Hash?

Just picked up a haul of reduced deli corned beef

I used to make a mean corned beef hash as a student.

Tried to re-create it recently. It was foul. Corned beef, onions, beans and chilli sauce. Maybe I did something different back then.
