Best views in London?

The best has to tower 42..and the bar is right at the top!

Parliment hill is great on a summers day.

Not quite so magneficent but still interesting one is the man made hill in the ecological park in rotherhithe. I used to live not far from it and have spent a couple of sunrises there

If you get off at Hampsted Heath station (next one west) then walk up Parliament Hill road, then continue on the footpath up the heath, it's at the top there. I think there are some pay binoculars there as well. Nice teashops near the station too......

goto Guys hospital tower, take lift to 30th flr (lecture theatre) and get a great view over s.london and the city

Gypsy Hill in S London has some nice views

one of my fave london views (or maybe scenes is a bit word) is driving across waterloo bridge at light with everything illuminated

The view from Gypsy Hill or Westow Hill in Crystal Palace is pretty stunning.

there is also a FABBO view from a certain park in between forest Hill and Dulwich, but that's an urbanites' secret and it's gonna stay that way!

a bit of park land in front of two large blocks of flats and behind loads of other houses is hardly a secret - i expect there are more people that know about it than have ever posted on here!!

Best thing about where I used to be located for work was that we were 28 floors up with stunning view of the Thames, St Pauls and beyond. Watching weather fronts come and go was awesome.
