Everyone keeps on about The Wire too, and I've never seen it either. Did mention to Mrs.Griff the other day about getting the box sets and giving it a go after seeing the bloke off it on The One Show.

It's on BBC3 a few nights a week. Also on FX channel 164 if you have Sky.

Can't believe no-one has mentioned Band of Brothers - the best TV show this decade.

Also 24 (not now but for the sheer originality of the first series).

And of course, The Wire (and I've only watched S1 and S2!).

Ooh series 7 has been pretty cracking
