I was looking at their site the other day. Is it gonna be worth it do you think?

I've heard it's a GREAT festival - old school, quite small scale so very social and fun and that. Lots of old school festy bands.

And me DJ-ing :)

This one is a bit more subtle, however what they both lack is a groundsheet with a lip. Any rain capable of causing puddles will come flooding in!

Does't detract from the fact tepees are .

my tent

once made the mistake of having a yellow tent...

never again

I like 1970's frame tents the best, the ones you can stand up in with the funny windows and all that. El Jugs brother has one. It is cool!

£120 for a crochet blanket is taking the piss, when you can pick 'em up in most charity shops for under a fiver.

I like Cath Kidson's style, but TBH you can get the same stuff from boot sales, pound shops and charity shops for pennies.

this is my tent - it looks like darth vader from the front.

i bought it last year after the season was finished but i tried it out at glastonbury last weekend. its a dome construction with a large porch but it has only three poles, two of which go lengthways on the outside like a cornish pasty, the other crosses them in the middle. because the poles are on the outside they move freely if its windy.

i'm very pleased with it, but oddly it doesnt seem to exist on the net. its made by eurohike but i cant find a single picture.

I love tents.

I thoroughly reccommend the Wild Country Mistral. Had one for 10 years and have used it loads. At festivals, at altitude, in a gale, in the rain, in the sun, in the cold.

Two people and all their stuff in comfort, easy to pitch, can cook in the porch if you have to and not too heavy.

Wild camped on Dartmoor last night in it.

the best bit about my tent is that the bag has a zip lengthways arther than trying to cram the damned thing in the end. AND its got extra space so you dont have to factory perfect roll it everytime.

my mate went to isle of whight recently and said it was littered with tents like the one in the OP. so make sure you make yours distinctive ;)

Dont buy eurohikes from millets
They are just about the poorest tents you can buy from a shop which claims to be a camping specialist

If you want a cheap tent which you are not going to look after then they are alright. But if you want a tent that will last a good many years and do all you ask of it, then you have to spend over £150.

I am sooooo getting one of those CK teepees for the garden...when i finally move into my new house!!!!

agreed, also helps to not buya eurohike if you want to stay dry

At this time of yearthere aresome fab tents for under £150 in the sales, you just need to know what you are looking for

i am happy with eurohike - i lived in my dome tent for 6 months solid in denmark when i worked on a farm. its now several years old and apart from where i've abused it its only problme is the waterproofing has started to go a little bit.

i ran out of space rather than wore it out. i'm kinda sad not to be using it this year.

i take my tent to festivals and i cant afford to replace an expensive one should things go awry.

agreed - i did lots of tent research at glasto before i bought darth. thats party what prompted me to go for external poles as it was so windy.

My last tent was a eurohike and lasted 9 years. 6 glastos and various other camping trips.

Our local one contains clueless staff and they get away with stocking shite becuase clueless people shop thereas well as more clued up ones
Then they foist the 'bargain' family tents off onto them and the 2 berth shitey ones on the festie goers who dont intend doing more than crashing
