Tesco own - brand Scotch. For some reason, this is just bang-on perfect (to my taste), very caramelly and good peat too. Yum yum and about 7£ a bottle.
Black can be pricey but it's still nothing on it's same priced rivals. It's all marketing I tell you, and look everybody in the UK and america fell for it.
Tesco finest gin is quite nice - less than £10 a bottle, and 43%. Shits on gordons any day and considerably cheaper than any other 'premium' brands (I can't bring myself to buy sapphire in this country - painfully expensive).
Yes, I'm no expert but there must be a difference between the vodka eating away at the skittles and adding a juice to the vodka. For instance the skittles vodka is not all that sweet.
