It's bigger than the Albert!! Easily!
Yes, but The Albert has all that outside seating

I reckon The Albert's longer but the Horse is wider

Far Side used to do a great roast dinner, but I went there maybe 2 months ago and they'd stopped because it was too quiet. Maybe that will restart now its more like cosy roast dinner weather. Anyone been there recently?

But the florence has some of the worst food service known to humankind.
Ooooh seems like it'll be a toss up between the Far Side and the White Horse![]()
White horse is fairly big, and getting a table is not usually a problem, its just they run out of roasts - other food would still be available though. The veggie roast is something like a stuffed squash with cous cous in it, it was OK, but a bit boring when I had it a couple of months ago. We also once got them to give us roast veggies etc with a pie when they'd run out of meat, but still had roast potatos etc left over.
:
I don't know about veggie roasts but everything I've eaten at the White Horse has been good.
I'd love someone to come along and say that the veggie roast is great now. I live on Brixton Hill so the White Horse is one of my locals and it would be ace if I could go back there to eat. But, honestly, that meal was so godawful I haven't been back in two and a half years
I reckon the Horse is longer too.
And higher.

It's time someone took a tape measure to settle the argument![]()
Also given our conversation earlier, not sure if it would be able to cater to large groups, at least with them being on the same table.
Have you not been for your sunday roast yet?
