Men in Tights - not great overall, but Cary Elwes is class.

prince of thieves was a potentially decent bit of silliness ruined by kevin costner's po-faced acting style (if you can call it acting). would be far better with cary elwes.

There was a Mel Brookes' series in the mid-70's called "When things were rotten". Very funny when I was 11 years old, but I donn't know if it would be today.
