Best place to buy a hoover?

And how long do they last?

We haven't got any pets, the carpets in this flat are only in two rooms, and not fluffy ones (but who knows when we move).

:hmm: even their cheaper ones that aren't £300?

I'm leaning towards a Henry because that's what cleaners use, and they seem to be reliable, and under £100.

Cleaners don't get to choose their hoovers though.
Miele are the best brand! German engineering!

That's because Henry doesn't mind getting kicked in the face

Oh, you might find that most cleaners in offices don't come across much animal hair ;)

No idea what your first sentence means, and already said I don't have any animals.

You may be better off with a Henry if you're on too tight a budget to buy bags. Also, if you're planning on moving and there's going to be decorating done or builder's mess, a Henry might be better.

Maybe you're better off looking at the NEGATIVE reviews on here for the Miele

and then look at the NEGATIVE reviews on the Hetty/Henry

How much is the Henry? I really don't think you'll regret buying a Miele.

She can get a Hetty/Henry under £100, but she can get a Miele under £100

Hughes Direct has a £10 off today which means with delivery she can get the Miele for £95. Don't know how long the "£10 off" deal will last though

Just checked its actually 2,400W for £78.29 :)
