Eccleston - he bought a degree of gravitas to the role that had been missing since Baker. Much like Patrick Stewart in Next Generation - there's an air of authority there that Tenent doesn't convey that well. Always good to have old skool shakespearean actors in Sci-fi I reckon.
Perhaps you could teach Henry how. Tennant ranges from a crap doctor to a brilliant doctor on an episode by eposode basis or even within the same episode. I think the problem with this series is some of the dialogue and attempts to be funny especially the beginning of the fifties episode hard for anyone to be good with that shite. Expect the kiddies love it though. I think they should bring eccleston back as the master of something and they can duke it out (the master possibly being trapped and all and the tardis forcing him to regenerate and all it could be easoily written).
just what i was thinking. I would love to see that, but i suspect, even more then eccleston he'd be reluctant to commit to the series long term: he's one of the uk's very finest classical / stage actors.
Chiwetel Ejiofor has far too much going on on Hollywood now.
